Inspired by some life events/ experience of Saint Ignatius of Loyola (pilgrimage, service in hospitals, prayer etc.), the Jesuit formation offers intense periods of time for a deep experience of God, inner transformation, self knowledge, serving others.
MAGIS offers a number of various experiments to choose from, grouped into several categories: Pilgrimage, Spirituality, Service, Arts, Ecology and Culture. These activities are designed to make you aware of the importance of teamwork, to give you a sense of international community and to expose you to unusual situations which contribute to your human and spiritual growth. In the experiments we create new relationships as a group (10-25 members) of very different individuals, engaging in unusual circumstances. We invite God to form these relationships, in particular during the morning prayer and the Eucharist.
Magis experiments are like a laboratory in which our growth in being magis is more important than the results of the activity that is being undertaken. The daily Examen and Magis Circle are the moments of personal and community reflection on the experiences lived every day. Thanks to this reflection our common growth in the relationship with God and with others becomes more conscious and more concrete.
We engage in Magis experiments also with the aim to be more magis in our everyday lives to which we will return after the Magis event.
Examples for experiments:

Society and Culture
This category will give you an opportunity to meet other religious, cultural and social groups. You will get to know people from different paths of life and learn about the local traditions of the country where the experiment is held.
