We try to bring a bit of summer joy and a colourful program to the children of a very poor Eastern-Hungarian area. In the mornings, we will be playing with the local children, most of them from the Roma minority, in locations provided by the Hungarian Maltese Cross. In the afternoon, we retreat to a nearby parish to reflect, pray, and prepare for the next day. Can you glimpse the face of Jesus, reflected in the eyes of the poor and troubled children? Experience that openness, love, and a good game can overcome fears, language barriers, and the difference of social backgrounds. Come, let’s play together!
Playful attitude, openness and a social sensibility
